We should give the guest media area a table cloth. That folding table looks like it is from the 60s.

Their QB was 1-7 passing. We stopped those 2 or 3 big pass plays they usually hit on everyone.

Coach didn't give us much credit, but, I hear ya, tough loss for them. Good to see DJ Palmore. Kid is a helluva player. I coached him in his younger days here.

Great win, obviously, for us.

Our defense put some hard hits on them yesterday. I'm sure there QB is sore today.

Two of the fumbles were the result of hard as hell hits. The interceptions were great reads in my opinion.

Overall the interceptions were caused by our defense putting them in position where they had to throw. Their qb is only effective passing when the other team isn't expecting it.

Agreed. The interceptions were bad throws but we forced them to throw

The turnover complaints are overblown

We essentially turned it over 3 times while they turned it over 4 as the last turnover was nothing but desperation

This game is the Blueprint for how to beat them. Other teams should take note.

Their coach did not give us the credit we deserve. Yes, they had a few fumbles and interceptions, but so did we. If offense would have been in the "on" mode, instead of "neutral", then the game would not have been close.

You can always spin it either way.

What would the score be if we...
hadn't screwed up the opening kick off
hadn't gotten that stupid safety
had caught that touchdown pass
had caught that first down pass
hadn't fumbled on that scoring drive
hadn't missed that field goal

RE: NAVY Coach and Players - Post Game Interview - "The Turnovers Killed Us"
Turnovers mattered.

But yes, the opening kickoff was like a turnover. The actual turnover late in the 4th was big. The safety was effectively a turnover.

They did make a few more mistakes, caused or not, but that is football. Their roughing the punter was like an additional turnover. Had we lost, and we had five turnovers to their technical one, that is all that many would see. Homerism runs deep. Each way.

But in this case, we caused some, they coughed up some...net result, we took advantage of the opportunities for a hard fought win.

Totally agree. A freaking table cloth and an AAC backdrop isn't too much to ask, if we are going to tout this conference as "P6".
