I wish I could say that's where I'm at...unfortunately the hairline is moving up my head with the same pace and enthusiasm as our offense with a 21 point deficit.

I believe you are thinking of a medical hardship waiver. A player who is injured can be granted a medical hardship if he plays less than 30% of the season. The redshirts are blown the second you step on the field.

I must be losing it myself...the player I saw was #43, which, up until just now, I convinced myself was R.J. Potts. After looking it up, #43 happens to be Michael Pitts.
