2019 could not get here soon enough, when American will get a new "pay day".

Will American invite teams so that we can have more content and inventory to boost the TV $$?

American has visioned Power 6 and it should be done on the field. I do know, but here is several options that could help.

a) If we go Basketball, VCU or Dayton
(Even though I am strongly against it. If it is Georgetown or Villanova, it could be a no-brainer)

b) Football? Western Wing?
American invites 2 western schools and we are legit P6 apart from MWC.

c) BYU is in desperation mode. Can we make a run so that we can snag the biggest Free Agent?

d) ESPN meshes in and gives us several options to boost the conference. (But it is most likely from G5 conferences)

Here are some questions:
1) what is our identity? Are we a football conference?

2) How can one of American schools get into the College Football Playoff?

3) how can American "fight" for more bowl-tie-ins vs major Football Programs.

4) Or are we emerging as a basketball Power conference with more brands from individual schools.
Memphis "State",
Houston "phi Slama jama
Temple, Philly Big 4
UConn, multiple NCAA Champs
Cincinnati

5) Move to Conference Championship game to New York City? Possibly Brooklyn Barclays center?
Dallas? New Orleans?
We need Big Stage for our teams. By moving it to a neutral site game in a big city, American could definitely boost our Basketball hype and traveling.

(I went to 2016 Orlando Conference Tournament and there were literally a handful of fans in the Amway Center)

If Memphis ranked prior CCG and ,hypothetically, UCF beat USF on Black Friday, could the CCG Showdown send one of our team to CFP? Right now, it looks like USF and UCF are going to control their destiny.

With 2019 Contract year looming, American is on a real good path. 2 years ago, we have 4 teams in Top 25 and now Memphis could sneak into Top 25.

American is POWER!
