0-7 Charlotte on the road next week. We really need to win that one.

I hate playing winless teams. I think we’ll take this one seriously though.

Coach will remind them all week that they haven't won a road game yet. I expect this team to respond. It's what good teams do.

I think you’re right, but it still feels kind of foreign to think of UAB as a good team.

Yeah this game will show us if we are capable of winning on the road. I know we are, but the team needs to know it too.

Tell me about it. I've had the feeling we were playing not to lose in the last two games, and bad teams usually lose them. But we won. I'm still afraid to think we we've got things under control. lol

Same exact feeling. Seen so many UAB let downs in the past I feel like I'm conditioned to think we are going to lose at the end. This team doesn't give up and keeps exceeding my expectations though

RE: 3 in a row.
As badly as I wanted to go to this game (Charlotte is only 3 hours from me), I'm going to sit it out.

The only other road game I've ever been to was the 70-14 thrashing we got in Hattiesburg. Just in the case that I could bring that bad mojo with me, I think I'll just watch from home.

Eh go. It will be fun. I drove about 5 hours to Waco years ago and watched UAB beat Baylor. Think I was the only one there cheering for UAB. Had a pretty neat experience at a Houston game once. I decided a couple of days before to go to the game since it is only a couple of hours for me. Thought it would be fun to take my boys. Since we didn't have any UAB gear, I called the athletic department and asked if they could bring us some shirts for me to buy. Someone met us at the gate and gave us all free shirts.

We drove for many more hours than that and loved the big win in Waco... Especially our freshman wide out catching the long winning touchdown pass. We slobber knocked the Baylor Bears on the return visit to UAB also.

RE: 3 in a row.
Bill Clark's Blazers are becoming more cohesive as the season progresses. The biggest key to winning on the road is learning to keep penalties and turnovers to a bare minimum, which leads to much improved margin of victory on the scoreboard. Keep up the improvement. It is great to see that we are all optimistic(hopeful and confident about the future). Their confidence is growing, each and every week.

Seems like the winning pass was the last play of the game. I remember buying the tickets to the game at a Wendy's in Waco. I think for like $30 you could get four single combo meals and tickets to the Baylor game. 03-lmfao

Charlotte outscored the Blazers 25-10 in the second half and (special teams miscues and timely turnovers) played a huge factor in UAB's inability to close out the game after leading by 17 early in the second half.

I smelled that one coming. Such a disappointing loss after such a great win last week.
