ECU misses Houston, Memphis, and Tulane. Cincy, Temple, and USF are all at ECU in addition to Tulsa. Sucks to have to end the year with 4 straight road games @ Navy,SMU,UCF, and UConn.

don't think football schedules have been released for conference games --- just home/away opponents. Doubt you'll end the year with 4 straight road games.

Awesome. I didn't think about that and just took the TBA as game times.

The AAC has learned how to defend the flexbone. Familiarity is not the flexbone's friend.

Wtf?
The people writing this tripe are clueless.
Justin McMillan will be back for Tulane & Anthony Russo will start for Temple unless he gets hit by a bus.

Edited.

Tulsa returns 9 starters on defense, and most on offense. But until we get our passing game back I'm not picking Tulsa in anyway.

A 2nd losing season in a row has me shy about poll participation.

"ECU will be implementing a soft zone scheme this year with 5 defensive backs. Flexbone is just slang for air raid...right?" - ECU Defensive Coordinator

How awesome would it be if they went 8-4 and lost their bowl game.

Haha, I thought the same. I was already thinking of the thread title: "At 8-4 (or 9-3), is it time to fire Holgerson?" 03-lmfao

Tulsa promoted LB Joseph Gillespie to DC yesterday. The linebackers have been a strong unit under his watch and he was vital in changing the defense to a 3-3-5 scheme last year and knows the ins and outs of it. They say he's energetic and the players seem to like him from what I can tell. Sounds like a good fit I hope.
