as you know, I am a member of Rebel Grove. I have noticed a lot of members of the LF saying they are emailing the director with inexpensive ideas to help our football team and recruiting. I have seen a letter back from him saying that he is considering these ideas. So, I think if he gets a handfull more emails, maybe he will pay them more attention and roll the dice. ok, here goes

1. Have tv's under the stadium (just one or two per stand) around the concession stands that have current and former Ole Miss players discussing their favorite plays and moments as Ole Miss Rebels, and why they love Ole Miss. They could play continuosly, and maybe do the pregame film clips as well. This would look great to recruits visiting our stadium, and also help pass the time at those God awful long lines :mad:

2. Have our sec championships and national championships put onto banners and hung under each side of the stadium. That way we can show potential players that at one time, we were to be feared on the football field. Even tho that time has long since passed

3. Paint some Ole Miss murals under the stadium on the walls close to the restrooms. Some of archie dropping back for a pass, or of Collins burning the moou db from last year at the eggbowl.

4. Have a statue of Chucky Mullins outside of the stadium, commemorating what he did for Ole Miss football, and for Ole Miss as a whole. We should show our appreciation to him!

Any other inexpensive ideas, drop em. I know lots of guys were saying that they wouldn't mind increasing their donations for drives such as these. maybe you guys wouldn't either, if you could financially.

By the way, I love all those ideas, Marine!! As a Loyalty member myself, I will write in those similar requests, as well.

All that works for me, fellas. At the very least we need to commemorate those championship teams.

I like it Marine. I have heard that at Notre Dame the school has really emphasized their teams history. Makes a huge impression on recruits and new players. I think you are right. We need to do the same thing. Not just an Archie Room; we need to really focus on the good things we have done.
