Woah, woah. Name calling from a mod? That’s very unbecoming of you. As much as you may try to divide us, I still say congrats on the record.

04-cheers

Calling them as I see them, plenty of proof on this board regarding your posts on USF. 04-cheers

Show me ONE post where I was a “hater” and my comment wasn’t 100% fact? Fans of your school seem to get easily offended when facts are thrown their way.

LOL all they have to do is click on any post regarding USF that even remotely sounds good and they are sure to find a post from you putting it down. And trust me I don’t get offended by trolls that can’t handle seeing USF duccess I find amusing and kind of pathetic
07-coffee3

Again, I came into this thread to congratulate S. Florida on their streak and instead you get offended because you hate it when facts make your school look bad. It's not just me that is presenting facts. You were ranked preseason #19, you are currently 6-0, yet you've only gone up to #16. Tell me again how we are all "haters" and how this has nothing to do with your very poor schedule which your admin had 100% control over.

Not so, the bulk of our schedule is AAC teams, and we have no control over that short of exiting the conference. Hardly our fault that Temple, Cincy, and ECU are not good and thus hurt our SOS, ditto for UConn coming up, and that we don't play some better AAC teams like Navy and Memphis.

Also, we don't have 100% control over even our OOC schedule, as it takes two to tango. We could ask Alabama, USC, and Clemson to schedule us but if they say "no", what do you do? That's true for everyone.

Our OOC schedule is lousy this year but year in and out we schedule as strong OOC as anyone. This year it is what it is and we have to live with it, and no USF fan is saying otherwise.

Don’t bother he is trolling . He knows full well that USF had Wisconsin and Illinois on this years schedule and had to add UMass when the Huskies moved the game to 2018. The San Jose State game was added because we couldn’t get any takers for 2017

Can't wait to snatch that USF weave on an upcoming cold, snowy, Voodoo-5 (Part II) November night.

South Florida Opponents & Margin of Victory:

1-7 SJSU (20pts)
FCS Stony Brook (14pts)
2-4 Illinois (24 pts)
3-4 Temple (36 pts)
1-6 East Carolina (30 pts)
2-5 Cincinnati (30 pts)

UCF Opponents & Margin of Victory:

4-2 FIU (44 pts)
3-3 Maryland (28 pts)
5-1 No. 25 Memphis (27 pts)
2-5 Cincinnati (28 pts)
1-6 East Carolina (42 pts)

So it's clear and FACTUAL that UCF is defeating better opponents by a larger margin than S. Florida yet whenever this is brought up, we are called HATERS and insulted with name calling.

The fact is that we play each other and it will all be settled on the field whether you guys like it or not.

Hmm let’s see this thread was about USF having the longest winning streak in the nation it has NOTHING to do with UCF’s 5 wins this year.

Bravado? We are having a good season no doubt but I would not be surprised if we don’t win the conference this year. It happens.
I’m very happy and proud of the longest winning streak so far at 11, the record scoring 30+ a game at 23 and our 23-4 record in past 27 games. None of that guarantees a conference championship but coming from depths that our program was in its amazing. We went 8-28 before the winning started

Bravado?

I don't see that. USF is still riding last season. All the negative posts about what a bad coach and hire CCS would be, you go back and would see USF posters saying our schedule was so bad for 2017, we would probably lose only 1-2 games in the regular season at most.

Nothing has happened that was not already foreseen. All that is happening was predicted 9 months ago. Sure we are enjoying it but who wouldn't. We have a loss coming this season. At least one. It could be in the bowl game but it will happen.

Correct most expected with the returning talent and the schedule that we would be were we are. Is this team invincible? Absolutely not and we could easily drop at least one of remaining games.
But we should celebrate where this team has come from and what it has achieved you know full well that if any other school in this league had an 11 game winning streak and 23 straight 30+ point games both national records they would be posting this same thread here.

I for one never foresaw that Sterlin Gilbert would be able to hamstring a well-oiled offensive machine by alternating between runs up the middle and throwing the deep ball. Apparently when Al Davis died, he was reincarnated as our current offensive coordinator. If Strong had simply retained T. J. Weist as OC while really turning around the defense with Brian Jean-Mary as his DC, USF might actually have lived up to the preseason expectations. But because Gilbert is more conservative than a Rush Limbaugh fan convention, I'm no longer confident that the offense will be able to "turn it on" when needed.

Honestly, at the beginning of the season, I thought they were playing possum to keep the offense off of film. But the season's half over, they're running out of time to insert anything.

I also never foresaw that the team would be so undisciplined that we would have gotten 3 sideline infractions in 6 games, and that our special teams would take 3 weeks to start playing.

No, not everything has gone as we thought. This year had a chance to be truly special. It still might get there, but it doesn't really feel like it will.

I would agree with you on Gilbert. His play calling is very vanilla and will be trouble if he doesn’t expand it when we play better teams. I also think many are underestimating the effects of the losses of Adams and Mack. Those two were homerun hitters that have been replaced by good/ steady but certainly not the explosiveness that they had. That has allowed defenses to tee off on Flowers

Can't wait to snatch that USF weave on an upcoming cold, snowy, Voodoo-5 (Part II) November night.

Hey, I'm not saying you won't. USF doesn't have a good history of playing road games up north in cold weather, we would much rather have played you in early September as originally scheduled. And yes, even though we've beaten you five straight years, including three years when beat almost nobody else, that doesn't make the score anything other than 0-0 when this game kicks off. Any given Saturday.

We'll see what happens. 07-coffee3

Exactly. They need to just let the games play out.
