The "extra benefits" clause was such a weak premise for North Carolina to base their case on. Basically admitted we cheated for 20 years, but since non-athletes could take the fake courses too, it's not the NCAA's business. And the NCAA agreed. Incredible.

2/2 UNC played hundreds of players, who only stayed eligible through fraudulent courses, because of UNC's own work. But no penalty.

There's a good life lesson here for those who aren't in the "elite" class. It's not really a surprise.

I wonder how many thousands upon thousands of people over the same time period paid someone to take their ACT for them as well.... 1 person allegedly cheats on an ACT and the whole team and university is punished. 1000s of student athletes cheat in classes made by the university just for them to be able to cheat and no one is punished. Any school that has been punished by the NCAA throughout the history of the NCAA should sue them for 100s of millions due to lost revenue.

Hoist the freaking banner back up. Screw the NCAA!

Betcha good lawyers can argue circles around NCAA administrators.

The lawyers probably have to hold themselves back, so as not to make the NCAA representatives look as pitiful as they really are.

Who, of sound mind and body, would even want to work for the NCAA?

There needs to be a nationwide boycott of UNC broadcasts. I am not suggesting that everyone will abide, but maybe enough will. If you are not a UNC fan or a fan of the team playing them, do NOT watch one second of their games.
