We've made a crapload of money with Ragin Cajun Ale and Ragin' Cajun Lager.

Good luck to you guys. This can be a good thing if marketed correctly.

Damn, now I want a stadium like GaSt AND our own beer like the Louisiana schools.....

Problem is Miller has already had Southpaw, so not sure what we could call it...

04-cheers with SBC beers.

Kolsch is good. If its not my favorite dark-as-the-night stouts, I enjoy a good kolsch. Covington makes an excellent one. Good luck with War Hawk.

Pretty excited about it. Great logo for it and this is the microbrewery that has the front of a P-40 Warhawk over the bar. Pretty cool place if you come in for a game sometime.

Middleton Brewing, between San Marcos and Wimberley, makes a Bobcat Red which is a Hoppy American Red. You can find it at quite a few bars in San Marcos.

I've tried probably half of Middleton's stuff and I think it's all great.

We don't have a drink. Unless you count the "Red Wolf Punch" sold at a Jonesboro eatry, which pretty much only exists because they opened with a Pig themed punch and enough people threw a fit that they gave us our own written down drink on a chalk board.

There's a LR brewery who makes (made?) a red wolf ale, but it wasn't in conjunction with the school. We need to get on the bandwagon.

We do have an ice cream, though.

RE: Warhawk beer
From the article:

"the beer is not officially licensed through the college"

So my question is, WHY NOT?

We did it first, and it compelled La. State and even Tulane to get into the licensing game.

Didn't a congressman have a fit about university licensed beers a while back? Like there aren't other problems in the state more pressing.

We get a percentage from the sales towards scholarships though.

If the owner gives it to you. Why not go ahead and license it and get royalties for the use of your name/logos instead of giving that away in the deal?
