$112k isn't too bad for summer basketball

If they get in the Northeast regional. Armored Athlete hasn't made the cut yet for The Tournament with voting/sponsorship. I believe that pay is based on his cut of the prize money if they win it all, is it not?

No clue. I just saw under each guy on the website it listed a salary. Seems like a lot of money for what it is. Wouldn't surprise me if that number isn't the true amount.

I think they project a pay amount for everyone on the roster, including coaches and sponsors, based on their total potential earnings if they win the $2mill. Got to qualify for the tournament first, which they haven't yet.

Sorry Marcus wasn't on a team in the South regional which is being played in Richmond.

Assume that means Daniel is under no obligation to the Celtics anymore. Wonder what Marcus' status is with the Cavs?

Busy time for Connor. Wins national 3 pt contest. Graduates. Gets NBA workout. Married his longtime sweetheart last Saturday. Signs with an agent. Good things come to he who waits.

Marcus' Armored Athlete team starts play as a 4th seed in the Tournament on July 21st. Looks like it is televised on the watch ESPN app.

Curious if Marcus is looking to play in the NBA summer league prior to that, July 6th-17th, and if he finally gets signed by someone, you would have to assume his agreement with Armored Athlete allows him an out. Granted it's the same green money, regardless, but just not sure how many, still tangible, NBA prospects are playing in The Tournament.

Well, a quick look showed a couple of The Tournament participants last year had similar paths as Marcus and got signed to two way NBA contracts in August.

David Cohn participated in a pro day. From Twitter:

“Solid showing of NBA scouts at @DanielPoneman and @ejkusnyer’s Pro Day. @ProBBallCombine standouts @o_tate_ and @dthomp15 continued to show the versatility that they bring to the table, and @dcohn_34 is clearly a very high level shooter. Appreciate the invite”

I think we all love David here. But, I think you are seriously underrating how difficult it is to get in the NBA. These are the absolute best of the best. Some guys that are can't miss all-american 1st rounders can't even consistently sniff roster spots.

Yeah, if Marcus hasn't gotten there yet, I think David has an impossible uphill climb. Glad he is at least getting a workout opportunity, and hopefully he'll get a solid gig overseas. Add 4 inches and 25 lbs, and David's opportunity would improve significantly. Or, if he added Connor's different world shooting beyond the arc, then you could argue a Steph Curry path.
