So I've heard rumor... Sucks

That's the word on the street and the athletics page released an article. I enjoy one a year to throw a breakfast tailgate but we are not a noon-game type of crowd so it's a real bummer but we'll be there regardless.

Not my favorite time, but hey it's a home game on a Saturday, those are few and far between. This year's whole schedule sucked, why not keep piling on. Wouldn't be surprised if they announce that the BG game has been moved to Nov. 7 (election day) at 10 a.m.

Mich/Penn St. & Notre Dame/USC are 7:30 games that night.

Jordan Strack just tweeted that the game will be televised on WTOL, with Jordan and Mark Beier doing the broadcast.

Cant go. Wedding... Pissed.
Will be 2nd missed home game since 2000. Wyoming in 2010 was other.

That's funny, I skipped a wedding the day of that Wyoming game. Have not missed a home game since I think 2003. Missed the first quarter of a Friday night EMU game for a telescope viewing we had to do for intro to astronomy.

I heard that game was rainy and we lost so it is what it is... Damn perrysburg hs homecoming...

We need to win this one tho!

Sad, but true...
The real fans will represent, at noon or under the lights at 7...

I know the start times for UT home games don't impact me as much as the fans in NW Ohio and season ticket holders, but I had a blast with the noon start time on Saturday. I enjoy the morning tailgate and having the rest of your day open after 4 p.m.

That said, I completely understand that the local fan base is used to night games under the lights. What I think is most irritating is the game times not being announced until about 10 days prior to the game. When you have plans for homecoming, a noon start as opposed to 3:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. really throws a wrench into things. And people cannot reasonably be expected to hold off on booking plans for homecoming until 10 days before.
