That seems like so long ago right now....

TxSt played pretty well except for the turnovers. UL did what they needed to do to win. TxSt may have a QB for the future; he just needs some experience and some help.

Texas State's front line on D is quick and their LB's are pretty good. Their speed enabled them to chase down the Cajuns when they tried to run outside.

Cajuns' defense appears to have at least turned the corner. Big test in the "Boro next week.

Have to say your freshman QB looks like he could really develop into a good one in a running spread type offense.

App State wouldn't have more than 15k for a Thursday night game against Texas State. What the actual copulation are these people thinking when scheduling these games?

It's ESPN, and their thinking "We need Thursday night programming". Don't you know, ESPN drives the bus in college football.

RE: TXST at Louisiana: Thursday Night Football
Our PBP guy interviewed Benson before last nights game and questioned him on mid-week games and Benson mentioned they were negotiating right now for a Saturday night slot for the conference championship game, but mid-week and ESPN3 games were discussed. Rather than trying to mis-remember as is my norm, I hope BOP can provide a synopsis on the discussion.
