Unlike Memphis, the majority of their crowd is the students. Students won't hang around for losing.

I talk Memphis Football with some Wolverine fans who live here--who happened to notice we beat UCLA. All in all, they are very attentive when I tell them about our emerging program. We have become their second Team!

One of them even taught me the special Wolverine cheer that is used against any opposing team, a player... or even the refs. There are gestures that go with it...but I was impressed with its lack of pretentiousness:

'you suck you suck you suck you suck you suck'
