UNT has nice o and d lines, and their coaches can make adjustments. They were a better team than I anticipated coming in to the Rock and earned their win here.

I like our offense, defense still has a few questions. If we can get past UT San Antonio at home, I really like our chances at winning the west.

We have a barn burner in El Paso right now a WKU 15 UTEP 14 score with just over 6 min to go.

UNT and FAU Play in the regular season, so there’s another loss in there for one of them.

At the moment, I feel like it may be the Marshall*/FAU winner vs someone emerging from the West with at least 2 conference losses.

* This is not an indication I think Marshall has it all together. I just don’t think anyone in the East does.

West is best. East is least.

WKU escapes El Paso with a 15-14 win. UTEP misses a 33 yard FG to win it and WKU runs the clock out.

I'm not sure what to make of La Tech and UAB.

USM jumped back into the race tonight! Not sure what kind of consistency we're going to get at QB, but tonight was a pleasant surprise.

North Texas still has plenty of issues to correct, and there is a lot of football left to play. Although things are looking good for UNT, lets not pencil us in for the title game just yet. UTSA will come to Denton madder then a hornets nest next Saturday, and FAU, LA Tech, and an improving UTEP are all still on the schedule.

C-USA is awesome.

UTSA will be pissed this week and will take it out on UNT. I think UTSA wins at UNT next week.

Pissed has nothing to do with it...

I know USM needs UTSA to beat North Texas, but you should wait and see how healthy both teams are heading into the game, and look at important factors before you make your pick. Lets face it, that UTSA defense isn't as great as many thought.
