We're lucky we played Kent today. Huskies played awful.

We turn over the ball too much. 4 turnovers today, which includes that special teams kickoff turnover.

Special teams continues to be a train wreck.

It truly is. Our kickoff game is weak, FG kicking is atrocious, our return game is nearly non-existent, we've lost at least 2 or 3 kickoffs to turnovers now.

How often do you hear before games special teams and turnovers are the keys to the game? We have a great D but we need to get both fixed!

anyone else start dozing off during the game?:) that was some ugly football..just the opposite of the SDSU game

Agree fully EPA.This might be the worst NIU FB special team performances in the past 17 years. One cannot allow such a weak special teams and expect to win against the likes of WMU and several other MAC west teams with these preventable mistakes.

It's very strange that we finally get a good punter and we can't do anything else right on special teams. At least Hagan made his 1 FG and it was around 40 yards so not a total gimme either. We did have the one punt get downed inside the 1 yard line so that was good.

I could not attend the game because I had a wedding to go to. So I watched as much of the game as I could on my phone. I don't know how much more of ESPN3 I can take. There was an unbelievable number of commercials on that thing. It was almost like watching hundreds of commercials interrupted by a football game. Very frustrating.

Yea I'm always hoping I can find the full game on Youtube. So much nicer.

Defense was so dominating. I think offensive issues were related to tropical storm force winds and heavy rain lol
