Screw that, SW is going to pass for 300 yds and ODU will run for another 200, as the offense finally explodes for the first time all year. Defense will lock down after an early score by their good running back Devin Singletary. ODU rolls the Owls in this one

The big difference will be the size and speed of the D-Line. This will allow Williams the chance to stand in the pocket and make good throws along with keeping the ball for long run gains. Look for Isaiah Harper to play a key role. Last week against MTSU, wide out Ty Lee had a very good game out of the same type of routes Harper tends to run. Both about the same size and speed. Odu wins 31-21

Very excited for this game. I'm expecting it to be very close, and hoping to see much better offense. If that happens and we don't turn the ball over, I like our chances.

Been waiting for the offense to get it together. Tomorrow is the day.

I hope you are right. If it does the bye week must have really helped. SW will find FAUs defense much easier to move the ball against than VT.

I am almost always the optimist with the glass half full, but this week, I just don't know. It seems to me this game could be any thing from a blowout win to a blowout loss. If the offense gets its collective act together, we will all go home happy tomorrow night. But there are an awful lot of moving pieces that have to come together. Here's hoping they do. Go Monarchs!

Let our Frosh QB "move the chains" and leave it at that. If he can do that and our "D" plays like they are capable of we win. Like you said, however, there are a lot of unknowns. Plus FAU will have a lot to do with how we look and they want the win too. I just have a hunch we will be able to pull it out. Go ODU!

Look for Larussa or Hoy to spell Williams if he's ineffective.

I believe you will be proven correct about the Monarchs winning. I don't think Wilder is prone to have a very quick trigger finger regarding pulling Williams.

Is this game on TV or streaming anywheres?

At first I thought you were just plain ignorant. But then I realized: satire!

Williams is going to have to be pure garbage to get pulled, and I'm not even sure he's gone then.

That said, nothing I've seen from Williams leads me to believe we'll see that. Hopefully, the bye was enough to get him more in sync with the WRs.

Does ODU announce what uniforms the team wears for each game? I'm wondering what they'll wear tonight.

Ask @ODUFBEquipment on Twitter. They posted the unis before the UNC game. If there's an interest I'm sure they could make it a regular feature.

The home team has never won this match. These guys are the reason why we didn't go bowling the first season we were eligible, and I don't think our coaching staff has forgotten. May they never beat the Monarchs ever again.
