Based on the undisciplined game vs ULM and the way UNT had their way with our secondary, no way USM wins.

One bright side is we get our starting left tackle back, Drake Dorbeck. He was injured 1st quarter of Kentucky game.

#14 QB Dalton Sturm: Senior QB, accurate (89%) on year, only 1 turnover (fumble) solid arm, great wheels but uses as last resort.
#5 RB Jalen Rhodes: Junior RB, Avg 112 yards per game behind only UNT's Jeffery Wilson. Shifty and fast. 67 yard td run vs TxSt.
#55 LB Josiah Tauaefa: Soph, Former CUSA Freshman of the year, honorable mention fresh of the year (nationally), Hard to miss Tauaefa on the field. He is the big Samoan LB with long hair in on every tackle
#93 DE Marcus Davenport: Senior, 6'7 Beast that is also UTSA's all time leading sack leader.
#54 DT Kevin Strong Jr: Junior DT (6'4 300) who causes a lot of havoc in run/pass game

Crazy to think they could be out of the race this early, but that is exactly right. IF they lose this one they are basically playing for a bowl/ spoiler for the rest of the year unless some major shakeups happen.

yeah, a cracked bone in left forearm.

USM 7-13 UTSA at halftime

This is a good defensive game so far. I have a feeling we will see a little more offense in the 3rd. Both teams have made some mistakes and great plays. It should be a fun second half.
