I fully expect to win this game, which is going to make for a VERY interesting week of reading on GSUFans.

We're gonna get curb stomped. That's not sand-bagging, it's an honest assessment. We got boat-raced by a mid-level Big Ten team in a way we usually don't get boat-raced by top 25 teams as an FCS team. We might improve, but we've got a lot of ground to make up to even be a mid-level Sun Belt team.

And if Jay Bowdry and Joshua Moon aren't back at safety, this is going to be especially bad.

If Justice winds up not playing or is still dinged up this might get hairy for Red Wolves. Furthermore, I know the Eagle option has sputtered in the early goings of the season, but If I were a Southern fan I would have to feel somewhat optimistic the option could get going against a run D allowing nearly 200 yards a game so far (not mention letting a bad SWAC team still throw for 280 yards).

I think it's going to come down to what defense will be able to make stops and force turnovers

I got blasted on here and there thinking we have a chance, but lets not make a win at home against a 1-3 team more than it is either. Being 1-3 means you still are not good, dont know how that is is going to be VERY interesting.

I am sure CTS will make them out to be AL if we win though.

Depends on who the three teams you lost to are.

The biggest problem facing A-State is it takes a lot discipline to defend GaSo, and the one thing that has been missing for A-State, other than being fundamentally unsound which is nothing new, is discipline, especially on defense.

The biggest problem facing GaSo is A-State is again much better than their record, and a lot better than last year at this point.

Even their HC says they should have won both games they lost, so GaSo is playing a team with the talent to be 3-0, that is 1-3, again nothing new.

The other problem is GaSo may be the only SBC team without a coaching advantage over them.

My confidence is not as high as other ASU fans. We cannot stop the run at all.

It takes almost no discipline to defend GS, Seminole Indian. All you have to do is go upfield and tackle the ball carrier because the lineman will certainly miss his block.

This is half kidding and half true. If you have watched GS this year the scheme appears solid but the o-line is atrocious. They are trying to run an option scheme with big old fat zone blocking linemen and they just aren't quick and aggressive enough to make it happen.

They are technically 1-2. And their losses are to Nebraska and SMU (who currently has the #3 scoring offense in the nation). Isn't it the coaches job to talk up every team like they are the Green Bay Packers?

Also we started the 2014 season off 1-2, were we not a good team? I'm confused.

Apparently players that knew how to tackle prior to the start of a new season forget how to do so over the summer in Jonesboro.

Blake Anderson says it is a problem everywhere.

The other concern for the A-State folks, is that while the Blake Anderson has yet to display anything that would make you think he was ever considered one of the top offensive minds in college football, he is an absolute genus at calling the wrong play at the wrong time. He has a gift for it.
