Click on this video link for the Creighton news conference. 2 things stood out.
Basically says we'll continue to do what we've done in the run game, but have to be more efficient. Pressed on the rushing stats, actually said the stats are misleading, haha.
Toledo is a man coverage team, that cheats 1 guy toward the box, and basically dares you to beat them. This game will be won or lost on the arm of Roback. Dieuly is finally going to have to break out, Roback needs to spread it around instead of focusing so much on Bailey, and he cannot have ANY turnovers. They are capable of doing it. If I'm running this thing I'm gonna live or die with the pass, especially with them daring us to beat them in man coverage. We have shown NO ability to run the ball, so I doubt that is magically going to change. The coach-speak of trying to be a 'balanced' offense is all well and good, but at some point you have to stop banging your head against the wall.
It's even their Homecoming. Could be the ultimate upset.
