FAU's actually favored by a few points.

Everyone got Pitt, Army, FIU, and Tech correctly. It was the MTSU vs FAU, Marshall vs Cincy, and UNT vs Southern Miss games that caused slip ups for most.

Agreed. Its like the last few weeks my 1st half of picks have stayed pretty true to form but the later half of the picks...dumpster fire!

Week 6 Schedule:

http://www.espn.com/college-football/sco...e/2/week/6

Saturday, October 7th

Florida International @ MTSU 2:00PM CT (ESPN3)
MY LINE: MTSU 24-21 Umm yeah, I don't feel confident in this one either way... I'm basically giving MTSU a home no over another bad team.

La Tech @ UAB 3:00PM CT
MY LINE: La Tech 31-23 Tech should be able to get this.

Florida Atlantic @ Old Dominion 5:00PM CT
MY LINE: ODU 27-23 Another game I am iffy about. I can't really trust either team. Basically giving ODU the home game nod.

Marshall @ Charlotte 5:00PM CT
MY LINE: Marshall 35-17 Charlotte showed signs of life last week against FIU but Marshall is a superior opponent.

Army @ Rice 5:30PM CT
MY LINE: Army 31-21 Rice is BAD.

Southern Miss @ UTSA 6:00PM CT
MY LINE: UTSA 28-24 USM's loss last week burned a lot of faith I had in them.

WKU @ UTEP 7:00PM CT
MY LINE: WKU 35-17 WKU should be able to win big.

That's my story and I might stick to it.

I need to recover some wins.

RE: CUSA Lines in The Sand - Week 6
MTSU - The Raiders get back to winning.
LaTech - UAB proves to be tough, but Tech pulls away
FAU - Only because the home team hasn't won in this series. Gonna be close either way.
Marshall - Serious payback time
Army - I really want to go with Rice here with the time change for Army, but I just can't.
Meep meeps - USM has a chance to stop the bleeding....but they miss it.
WKU - yeah. Poor UTEP

Florida International @ MTSU

La Tech @ UAB

Marshall @ Charlotte

Army @ Rice - I want to pick Rice, but they just can't score.

Southern Miss @ UTSA

WKU @ UTEP

Week 6, are you kidding me? 04-jawdrop This season is flying by.
.
Saturday, October 7th

Florida International @ MTSU - The Golden Panthers visit the Boro against an ailing bunch of Blue Raiders but the Tennessee boys declaw the FIU felines by 10.

La Tech @ UAB - UAB is back in the mix but the Dragons are up against a bunch of Bulldogs hungry for another league win, and a little Blazer meat will do the trick, La Tech by 17.

Florida Atlantic @ Old Dominion - The Monarchs have looked anything but royal so far and being the friendly confines will boost the desire for a W but these southern Owls have different plans, FAU in a close one by 3.

Marshall @ Charlotte - The Thundering Herd were more like a couple of strays last fall but the Herd seems back on track this fall and the hapless 49ers will do little to slow them down, Marshall by 24.

Army @ Rice - The Black Knights from Amherst will run over the homestanding Owls but the Owls won't fly away without a fight, Army by 12.

Southern Miss @ UTSA - The battle of birds is in San Antonio this week and should be a good one, looking for the Roadrunners to be hard to catch but the Eagles sure will give if their best shot, UTSA by 7.

WKU @ UTEP - Arguably the worst Topper team since 2009 but even with a new boss the Miners get in a hole they can't dig out of, after an auspicious start UTEP runs out of fuel, WKU by 14.

No worries. Didn't want you to potentially lose a pick on a technicality.04-cheers
