That's why I double checked the other site, Clone...

Stassen doesn't list Independents...so I missed that one.

Not sure how you got this, but Marshall hasn’t only played one game against an opponent who was a member of the Mountain West at the time, and that was 1999 BYU, who was #25 and co-champion of the MWC when we played in the 1999 Motor City Bowl. We won 21-3.

Edit to say that I think I know how you got to 0-2. We are 0-1 against Boise and 0-1 against UNLV. However, both of those games pre-date the MWC. The UNLV game was in 1973 when UNLV was Division II, and the game against Boise State in the 1994 I-AA Playoff semifinals.

RE: Just out of curiosity..
For us it's kind of sad.
AAC- no matchups
ACC- 0-2 lost to Clemson & North Carolina.
Big 12- 0 and a lot
Big East- 0 and a little
Big 10- 0-2 L to Wisconsin, Iowa
CUSA- a lot of wins a lot of losses
MAC- 1 win over Northern Illinois five losses against the rest
MW - 3 SDSU, UNM, Colorado St. a couple of losses
PAC 12 - 0 and a couple. Have wins over current PAC 12 members but they were in the WAC
SEC - 1 Ole Miss. a couple of losses
Sun Belt - NMSU, Lafayette. Haven't played any other teams.
WAC - a lot of wins a lot of losses

Coach: college football database says:

Boise State (1994) 24-28
UNLV (1973) 9-31

"Records using Conference Alignment at time of Game".. .but again, so CFDB is a a little flaky on their numbers..

Stassen says 1-0 vs. MWC (Win over BYU in '99)

is 0-4 vs. NCAA Independents (but they do have wins against every conference except American (0-0) 1-0 vs. Big East, 1-2 vs. Pac-12. )
2 losses to ARmy, 2 to navy

and 0-2 vs. Colonial Athletic Conference.

LT beat UMass last season and they were independent.

Beat Navy in a bowl last year but they were in the AAC at that time.

They're wrong. Boise wasn't in the MWC in 1994. As a matter of fact. It didn't exist then. If I'm not mistaken, Boise was Big Sky then.

Louisiana Tech http://football.stassen.com/cgi-bin/reco...h&limit=50
Site only data for years when each team was considered 'major' (equivalent to today's I-A), and therefore will not necessarily yield true 'all-time' results.. Only includes games when that team was a member of that conference. (does not include 1992 Tie with S Carolina).

SBC 8-0
MAC 10-3
C-USA 17-11
Big Ten 3-2
WAC 52-48
MWC 1-1
Big West 7-10
Pac 12 1-2
SWC 3-6
ACC 1-6-1
SEC 5-34
Big XII 2-17
AAC 0-4 (does not include Navy for some reason)

The Army win would be considered CUSA not Indy, as they were a CUSA school in 1997, our 1st year in IA and 2nd game a 35-25 win.

Army was not in C-USA in 1997.

Army was in C-USA from 1998-2004.

Good find but the AAC is definitely wrong, Tech is 1-0 against the AAC. They only been around since 2013 unless that includes the Big East teams

Your info is bad. LA Tech has beaten SEC teams AT LEAST 6 times.

Alabama - 2
Ole Miss - 1
Miss St - 3

Actually, this site says LA Tech has 7 wins over SEC schools. Apparently everyone was overlooking LA Tech's 7-6 win over Ole Miss in 1946. So LA Tech has 2 wins over Ole Miss, not just 1.
