Not taking away anything from thoughts and prayers for Mr. Petty's family, but Prince was one of the most underrated guitar players of our time....and honestly I wasn't a big fan of his.

His music is something I didn't mind coming on the radio.

After 30 years of listening to the same exact crap.

I was always okay with Tom Petty.

90% of the other stuff.

Not so much.

We are losing some of the great ones and this one hurt. I found this one awhile back and it really struck a chord with me. Big fan of both Petty and HW and this cover is a cool one. Listen at the end and you can hear TP say he's never played it in his life.

Tom had a unique way of changing and staying the same if that makes sense. And his albums had some meat to them. You could go deep on both A & B sides and get some really great songs.
