I gotta say I had more fun in the stands yesterday than I think I ever had watching an App State game, at least since hanging from the goal posts after a freshman year win over Marshall.

Did the team play great? No. Were there some weird calls? Yes. But the crowd sounded great to the end. There were ups and downs - highs amd lows. Just fun to watch. Glad App pulled out the win.

Even my 5 year old daughter, attending her first ever App State game, lost her voice from cheering so hard and became a fan for life because of how much fun she had yesterday.

It is fun, but I was not having fun at that moment.

Watched the entire second half of this game. Hats off to both teams. It was an entertaining game.

Here we are 6 weeks in this football season and I have no idea what to think or to expect from this App team from week to week. I had to increase my blood pressure medication after the TxState game and will have to up it again after the Wake and NMSU games. Still, like a junkie I can't wait until next weeks game.

App dodged another bullet. NMSU was big and fast. Much better than their record. Exciting game but so far my App team has more personalities than Sybil.

Sybil admitted that she faked her personalities. Does that mean App is faking being bad in areas when they are really good at them?

We definitely needed the day off, but our guys definitely looked lethargic Saturday. The difference in how we looked against WF and NMSU was striking.

I watched the game again on WatchESPN. Appalachian won again, and I will presume any subsequent viewings will yield the same results. I think Idaho will be another close game, but I'm not certain I will rewatch to ensure the victor's win.
