Troy had a 12% win probability and that's per S&P, not the heavily skewed FPI.

It IS an upset, and calling it such doesn't in any way downplay what Troy accomplished.

They were the better team on the field last night.

From a vegas standpoint this was a huge upset. However, if this game is played ten times, Troy likely wins this one more than it loses. We are simply better than LSU. Going up 24-7 and not giving up the lead in the end proves that.

Well the guy in the video is simply implying that Troy has usually played P5 teams close or beaten them, plus for all the successful years winning the Sun Belt and during our time in 1AA. So from that aspect, it's not so much an upset.

Looking at Vegas lines and media predictions though, it was an upset.

I wouldnt go that far. We played a good game. It was not mistake free, either, which makes me believe we would win several games out of 10.

We were defdinately better saturday night. We out coached them, out hustled them, and out played them.

It is by every definition an upset. In hindsight maybe not a huge upset, LSU has no business being ranked and did barely squeak by Syracuse, but it's still an upset.

Gotta love watching programs that ran off successful coaches go down in flames though!

Don't know if it was an upset or not but wanted to stop by and give Troy a Big Congrat's for beating LSU.
