You had to be there in person to give credit
I realize we played TERRIBLE tonight and it's easy to talk crap about our defense, offense, etc
I think any Tiger fan who was in the stadium tonight would agree that UCF is just a very very good team
They were simply better then us on both offense and defense
I humbly told every UCF fan I talked to after the game how impressed I was with their team
The majority of UCF fans are very classy. Every fan I talked to was happy with the team performance yet extremely disappointed in their fan base for not selling out tonight.
What they have going for them is their student sections were 100% packed out. Those are their future alumni and years down the road I foresee UCF having packed out stadiums due to how active their student body participates in their games.
Probably 10,000 to 15,000 students in attendance. Very impressive to see from what many consider to be a commuter college.
IMO - UCF is no longer a commuter college based on what I saw from their student body.
I'll give credit where it's due and UCF looked fantastic tonight.
I think they will give USF their first loss
Beating Maryland by 28 on the road and then to beat us like they did deserves a Top 25 ranking this week

A "disappointing win" last week.
A disappointing loss last night.
It ain't the end of the world. Let's take out our frustrations on UConn!

We are a pretty good team on offense. We are NOT a good team on defense and haven't been for three years.

Their enrollment is like 60,000 students. That is the direction we need to head in. Not just for attendance. But fo community diversity and vibrancy. And not just at U of M, but at all area institutions of higher learning.

It's the strangest thing on our defense this year. Never seen so many players out like that in just week 5. Never thought we would be leaning on so many freshmen

UCF is pretty good, but we should have been up 21-6. And that would have made it a much different game the rest of the way. Lousy plan, lousy execution, awful tacking - and what was going on between Ferguson & the coach, didn't look good.

Not sure we're a good team. We're not bad by any stretch. Probably a cut above average on offense but two cuts below on defense. Will probably lose 3-4 games this season.

I'm suspicious how UCF has become the best football team in conference literally overnight. They are recently removed from being on NCAA probation for recruiting violations from 2012 thru 2017 and was 0-12 in 2015.
Give me a f'ing break... How do you become this good - with all this talent - under a 2nd year coach this quick?
Given UCF's track record and all the impropriety in College sports, it makes one pause and ask are they playing by the rules.

Good comments, thank you. I hope you enjoyed your visit to the UCF campus.
As for being a commuter school- honestly it hasn't been that way for 15 years or more. I was there starting in 2003 and it was already firmly in the "non commuter" category; most everyone I met was not from the central Florida region. Today I think UCF has the 2nd most on campus housing in the state behind UF, and that will change once they simply build next phases on dorms.

We're not a good team. Our offense is very streaky and our defense is not good. Our kicking game is not good. We are not a good team, hope to make a bowl game this season, but I'd give it even odds.
If coach is back, I hope we'll improve next season.

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL holy crap. Is this for real?
We self imposed scholarship reductions due to one single infraction that occurred under David Kelly, a coach that was fired years ago. That's it. That's the entire scope of "impropriety".
Don't know if you are serious but here are win totals since 2010: 10, 5, 9, 12, 9, 0, 6, and currently 3. Do you see the massive outlier there? It's not being successful, it's the 2015 season becoming one massive calamity in which the coach was trying to play AD and the "heir apparent" HC was a disaster. Everyone quit.
Maybe we just recruit well in a state full of talent? Or, we are running one big conspiracy cheating ring and using VooDoo. Who knows.

That's nice. where you gonna find kids that score higher than a 17 on ACT scores? Quality or quantity? I would love to see about 25,000 students at Memphis but it's not good to just take any student. You have to have good material to work with or you will have a bunch of Interdisciplinary Studies graduates floating around. This is why most schools in the state have rolled back enrollment numbers.

This.
They devalue themselves with their massive enrollment. Ohio State or Florida can get away with it; UCF can't.
And yes, I know people who went there. My niece is a graduate.

I was wondering if they were so good that they made us look bad, i.e., the huge hole on the long TD run. Ferguson made some off-target throws that weren't because of them. Miller dropped 2 that I remember that weren't because of them. Our DB's took a step in the wrong direction a couple of times and let the receivers get open. I imagine that is inexperience on our part. Maybe it was something they did.
Their QB out-ran our DL and LB's. That's simply their being good.
By the way, I wonder how many opponents' record books we are in, i.e., the longest run in school history, the longest play in school history, etc.

I think they're good. There defense can get stops and their offense is balanced and capable. Unfortunately, we didn't see much of their kicking game... except on kick-offs.
