Bottom line - improvement. If these happen, it will give us a chance for bowl eligibility with our end of schedule opponents. Reality is, this is what the TEAM is playing for this year. Next year - be little better. In two years, competing for American championships. These are my expectations. Rosie glasses (not palm) says we should play for champs every year but that is not reality. If this team rises to the occasion against probably the two best teams in our conference, I will be content (not necessarily happy). I'm excited to see what these players and these coaches bring to the field this week and next.

Bolded, this we should count on. There is already speculation that the UCF coach will move on. A revolving door of quality coaches will continue to be the norm for most of the AAC unless there is a windfall TV deal or the P6 becomes more than a marketing slogan. Not that our competitive strategy should be built upon the expected weaknesses of our opponents, but if Fickell stays and continues to recruit here we should all reasonably expect to compete for AAC championships most years.

It would be interesting to see how they come up with these stats. Seems like it would be a bit subjective to me. And if these guys are that great in pass protection- do the other 2'guys just stink, or is Hayden a deer in the headlights no matter how good his protection is? I would like to see the unforced errors stats on Moore. My guess is pretty bad.

Stuer and Trout are over on the other side. TEs need to block also. Not getting run game going early and a lot of dropped passes has hurt. BTW every player and position group gets graded after every game.

Through W5, #UC's Marquise Copeland (@Marquisecope_44) ranks T-No. 1 in run stops (17) among all FBS defensive tackles. STUD.
