RE: Can we kick Cincy and UConn out ?
Please no C-USA. I would take MAC or MWC. Hell, I would even settle for the B12!

Yea. I really pains me that I can't take part in a lot of these threads. I'll just go sit in the corner and watch the play.

A bit off topic, but I really don't think the A10 is even close to us in basketball. They've had a couple of great years and some of our top programs have had terrible years...which has put us on par. When I look at the teams top to bottom in both conferences I honestly don't think it's even close. No knock on the A10, it's a solid conference and 6 months ago I would have been thrilled to join it, but the AAC has several traditionally good/great programs.

The A10 has been in a major decline since the late 70's loosing schools like Penn State, Pitt, UCONN, Rutgers, Temple, Villanova, West Virginia, Xavier, Butler, and UNCC over the last forty years along with all of their FCS Football Only Schools. It is now an urban mini me structured like the "New Big East" conference dominated with religious affiliated schools and a few public schools. The conference is not as bad as some would think when it comes to men's basketball but it is no where near what it was years ago with all the major players that have passed through it.

UCONN was never a member of the A10.

Probably explains why the A10 was so "loose". If they tightened that ish up, we would've never left...or something.
