Funny fact. ECU's QB Gardner Minshew originally signed with Troy and a lot of us thought he'd be our next great QB, but wound up transferring to JUCO. How's he been for ECU so far? I keep up sparsely.

Tough call IMO. Last year in relief of Philip Nelson he did ok or in other words as good as could be expected given the circumstances of his coming in the game. This year.... with an entire off season of presumably being THE GUY he has looked terrible--jittery and not very self confident in the pocket while also not making the best decisions. One wonders if having the pressure of being THE GUY got to him and he wasn't ready where last year he was coming in relief mode.

And they opted not to renew the contract for our 124-year rivalry because we wouldn't give them over 50% of our home game tickets or play them in Baton Rouge more frequently than every other year.
