We're up by 13 and you're still talking ****.
The fact that we are only beating temple by 13 and its almost halftime is not a good.
Don't see how that's on major, props to him for switching QBs, any coach could have fallen into the 5 star allen trap, major was smart enough to make a change.
We cant say that our players made tom herman and then at the same time say that major is a bad coach when he is missing greg ward.
Yes this team isn't as good without greg, but I've seen improvement from last week already against a defense probably as good if not better than techs.
I would say tech has a much better defense temple has been getting blow out or failed to keep bad teams from scoring.
Tom Herman made our players good greg ward sucked under levine, and every time applewhite called a play we did nothing.
Ward didn't suck under Levine, Ward lost more games under herman than levine. Levine had a hard time starting ward over Okorn. A lot of the stuff he did wasn't coached it was just improvising.
Tech has probably a top 70 defense, temple is probably around the same. Herman was good at taking advantage of tv time and recruiting, but the players won the games, and most of the players were Levine's !

What I mean is the coaching allowed the players to be better under Herman. Whereas the coaching held back ward under levine. Like you sad under levine it was just improvised and we saw more of that as levine got more desperate to save his job.
But you cant say that Herman was not a good coach or that his coaching didn't vastly improve the players.
I'm actually curious about temples official numbers so i'm going to look at the ncaa stats and see what they are. But even so this team has enough talent that we should be eating top 70 defenses for lunch.

I'm saying they will both end up around 70. Tech hasn't gotten into big 12 play and temple has played usf and notre dame, their schedule gets easier and tech gets more difficult.

In 2015 we had 9 games won by 14 or more and 7 of those 9 were 21 or more. In 2016 we had 6 despite herman having one foot out the door. This team usually has the offense to win by big margins on offense.

Jesus applewhite is a terrible coach. If we lose this game applewhite should not even bother coming home.

Temple is creeping back into the game. Down 20-10 and are now driving in UH territory. UH doesn't look the same - more like a 7 win team for them this season.

I swear if applewhite is not fired by the end of the season i may consider selling my season tickets. The ineptitude displayed by this team is absolutely pathetic and that falls squarely on coaching.

The fact that its this bad when the coach was our former OC is a very bad sign. Clearly apple trud is not cut out to be a head coach, and anyone that thinks temple shouldn’t have won this game is crazy. UH is probably one of the worst teams in the conference this year.

Felt like the arizona game. We won but it wasn't because we earned it.
