RE: Nebraska - Illinois

Illinois is consistent with struggles in all 3 phases Offense, Defense and Special Teams.

Doesn't break my heart one bit. They're cowards and refuse to schedule us.

According to a story in today's Peoria paper (the same paper that devotes page after page to the Illness & loves them so much) the sports writer says regarding the Nebraska @ ILL game :

...not a lot of talent on the team. Jr. WR Mike Dudek is the exception - a dynamic playmaker. Unfortunately there won't be many passing plays to make because (quoted from Coach Lovie Smith) "We're not a passing team. Passing is hard for us."

Yes, those words were spoken by their coach. 04-jawdrop

I think over the years it has become clear NIU is the best football program in the state with northwestern the main competition As a fan the motivation for an Illinois game is gone

We are better than Northwestern until they beat us.
