Unfortunate scheduling w ODU coming over the Thanksgiving break. This matchup would likely put student butts in the seats.

Watching this GMU vs LA Tech game from cancun. Game features two bigs we offered and missed out on- Oliver Powell & Greg Calixte. I'm not really that impressed with GMU. I'm sure that we will struggle defending penetration, but they don't appear to have any knock down perimeter shooters. They have a little size, but no bigs appearing as talented as Knight. They have little depth and seem raw. IMO, this should be a very winnable game.

Two future Tribe opponents squared off last night. It didn't go well for one of them.

Wichita St was a past opponent, but unless booked for a future year, not sure we play them again. Savannah St was actually only down by 16, five minutes into the second half. They took a whopping 55 three point shots, but only made 13...wild.

I gather we are playing two teams with similar approaches this week. Between Marshall and Savannah State - could we see two games with four teams getting to triple digits in scoring?

One game down, two teams in triple digits. So far, so good.

We are a young team learning how to win. A well placed game this Saturday to hopefully transfer those winning lessons on the road, in prep for a bigger hurdle next Wednesday at GMU. GMU at Auburn on Sunday, so, one less day of rest.

Interesting going back to look at ESPN's piece on Connor Burchfield's response to their birthday email about three pointers back in 2016. When they put up the NCAA top 3 pt % list with Connor #1, there in 5th place is Matt Milon!!
