WMSB Basketball Analysis: First 7 Games
Stat(s) of the day: William & Mary has now scored 100 points in three of its last four games, including 103 vs. Shenandoah, 114 vs. Marshall, and 108 vs. Savannah State. The 108 points against Savannah State were the most William & Mary has scored in an away game in program history. In the contest against Marshall, W&M scored the second most points in team history with 114.
Boy can this boy SHOOT THE BALL. Looking to stay hot, we're excited for the game @ Mason this Wednesday. The W&M Sports Blog will be in attendance. LET'S GO TRIBE.

Thanks for the synopsis.
One quibble: I'm not sure how you can say this line:
"Not only is he [Nathan Knight] currently the leading scorer on the team, he also ranks 2nd in rebounds, 1st in steals, 1st in blocks, and 4th in assists."
but then also say this line:
"Pierce has arguably been the best all-around player on the team so far this season."
Yes, I see that you said "arguably" but my point is that based on those rankings in all five stat categories, I'm not sure how someone could argue it.
By the way, I am not indicating a preference either way. I think they are both great and I would love to have conversations about which is better, all year.

Fair point, but I'd say it's a tie at this point; all-around, they're both about equal in very different ways. I think we'll also have to wait and see who has the better year as the season goes on -- it's early!
