Perhaps their jobs?

Maybe that is why they did it. They want people who don't normally pay attention to the news to become aware of a problem that they see. Breast Cancer awareness is the same way. They wear pink so that average football watcher will become aware of something else in the world that needs to be addressed.

Life is messy that way. We all want to watch tv and not be bothered with other peoples problems but unfortunately, that doesn't always happen.

What problem is that?

And how will their cause be advanced by pi$$ing of 2/3 of the US?

inequality.

Their cause will be advanced by bringing awareness to the problem. The squeaky wheel gets the oil.

Most people will choose to ignore it at first and then little by little people will start to listen and then eventually it will be an accepted item of reform.

It was that way with segregation, gay marriage, etc. etc.

Eventually people come around and realize they can't ignore the problem anymore.

Wait - it's inequality now? I thought it was police brutality? 03-lmfao

Come on, get your story straight. 03-lmfao

Besides, NFL players make more money in a season than most people make in their lives. I hardly think they're the best folks to argue for equality.

Colin K. reportedly protested against police brutality.

Currently the football players are protesting for unity and equality.

Their protest has thus expanded to include unity against Donald Trump and inequality for others less fortunate.

They aren't protesting for themselves not others.

Then why not put your right hand over your heart and sing the Anthem. That is unifying. Equality for what? Unity against Trump. Over 60% of the fans in that stadium voted for him.

Unity against Donald Trump? Welp... sorry to say, but 50% of the country voted for him. The only unity they're going to find is within their own left-wing echo chamber. This solves nothing, and only deepens the divide in this country.

50% of the country didn't even vote.

The county that Green Bay is in Trump won by a margin of 11%. The other 2 surrounding counties he won by over 30%. He crushed Hillary up there. Actually I bet when you adjust for age, race and gender of the people at the game ......75-80% are Trump supporters.

Inequality for what??

What is this inequality you are speaking of??

Is it for equal opportunity....or equal outcomes??

This is going to be awesome.

The boos will be deafening.

Why? Do people have something against unity and equality?

Well, apparently some NFL organizations do.

Poor example. MNF is broadcast by the far-left ESPN. Of course they were going to show it.

Well tonight's game is going to be on the NFL network and CBS so you might even see some communists flags flying as well. 03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

60% of the fans in the stands voted for him? How on earth could you possibly know that?

well it's an opinion and I agree with him. The NFL crowd leans conservative.

Get their story straight.. what are they protesting? Hell, if they'd get that straight they might win half their argument right off the bat.

So now they want to protest a lack of equality.. a lack of equality in what?

By the way, if they're so worried about equality, these players could just hand out say .. what? 80%? 70%? of their salaries to various charities and such... Unless they don't mean that kind of equality?

If they don't mean that kind of equality, then what kind of equality do they mean?

People like throwing out those "generic terms" around when they've got a platform...when even they don't know what they want it to mean.

They want to protest for unity?

Why, because the President didn't like what some of them are doing? awww.. did all these protesting players got their itty-bitty feeling hurts.

Whoop-de-doo.. hell, they sound like they need to grow some...you know whats.

And if the fans want to show their support for something, they'll do it without the poking and prodding of million-dollar earning football players

This is going to be awesome.

The Cowboys got booed. It is not going to work. The players need to take the boos as a way the fans do not like this. The fans are the ones paying them to play. If fans start to be driven away in droves? Who will pay these overpaid players?

Punt, pass, kick and run. Tackle and play defense. Stand for the National Anthem. Don't commit murder, domestic violence, nor deal drugs.

Too much?
