Premium content only, but they have FIU with 9 of the Top 12 incoming CUSA Freshmen (remember, they have a top 5 recruiting class nationally). Rice has only one (#5 Louis Aviles) in the Top 10, but another 6 in the Top 25. Strangely, they rank Cox and Collins just ahead of Cruz. Odd given how productive Cruz was in the California Summer League...

As someone who has dealt directly with Perfect Game over the years the rankings can be very misleading simply because many players chose to not pay the large amounts of money required to attend most of the PG events. They are, however, a very reputable source of info on many players that they evaluate. But if a kid gets "ranked" early on with PG and then doesn't attend any more events (i.e. after they've committed to a college) they will start to slide down the rankings. Current or recent PG event attendees will slide above them simply due to their recent activity with PG.

I know multiple 1st round draft picks that never attended a single PG showcase and thus were never even ranked.

There's certainly value in PG and its a great organization....but like anything, they're out to make money first and foremost.
