At what point during game-day did Lance Berkman speak out on political issues? That is the question. Was it during the Anthem? (I don't know because I don't watch the NFL regularly)

He didn't and he was a baseball player.

A protest involves actively doing something. He and others are just not participating in these patriotism games and they don't have to. Some people don't want to be used as pawns.
Dumb move. They're accomplishing nothing, while their brands are being eviscerated. Marcus Peters will never get another sponsor, and a la kaepernick, who knows if he'll even be worth resigning at the end of his contract. He got beat for 2 TDs last night, and told his hometown fans, "f**k you, b***h". Toxic.
All to protest the country that allows him to play a game for a living, and the brave men and women that risk their lives to protect and serve others. Sad.
Some things are worth more than money. It did accomplish something because now you understand that there is a problem when before you didn't care. There is no free lunch in life, so to them raising awareness was worth the loss of income. Ultimately, if a player is good enough it doesn't matter. Nobody is kicking Odell Beckham Jr off of a team, even though he acts like a complete clown and does way worse things than sitting/kneeling during the national anthem. Again, not a protest, just opting out of the theatrics.
lol no
Then you never cared, so not your problem. You shouldn't care about the kneeling either.

There's no problem to care about. You shouldn't care about the outrage about the kneeling.

Demarco Murray donated $25,000 to the Las Vegas PD and another $25,000 to the victims of the shooting. This is much better than kneeling to have the country come together to heal as a whole, and not we hate cops and all that.
