At the root of it I'm jealous of the schematic advantage it gives you. I don't know how to even begin to explain it. They revel in the ignorant and ill informed. They vote to piss off another group more than to support a candidate. They ignore actual news as fake and fake news as actual. It's the cornucopia of crappiness.

THE PERFECT MEME to what I am talking about. You don't know about it because it's not in your orbit but if a D were to have done the things Price did. It would be about as large as kneeling during the national anthem and Hillary's emails. A D can point out very very similar stories to what The Republicans bash over D heads and it's completely ignored. Remember all the threads about Obama golfing. Trump is worse. I don't remember the private jet being the issue issue when Loretta Lynch used one to meet Bill Clinton on a tarmac. That said, I agree with you. If Price has the money in his budget to fly around on private jets, his budget needs a big haircut.

I am not sure you can find too many people of any stripe supporting his private plane usage and most commentary from all sides has been that it was wrong and that there needs to be changes.

If you told me Tom Price was run out of office tomorrow because of this, I wouldn't bat an eye nor defend him in the least.

It's 110% impossible for you to state that this would be a much bigger scandal, in the same way that I cannot with any certainty say how different the news coverage would have been if an antifa protester had driven a car in the white nationalists and killed one of them.
