Basketball has been a cesspool beginning at lower levels (AAU) for some time.

While shocking, it's not really surprising it's gone this far,

All about the money for players-parents, coaches, agents, etc.

NBA "One and done" rule just accelerated it.

This will be the tip of the iceberg. it will end up with more than Louisville, Arizona, OkSt, Auburn, S Carolina under investigation. It probably involves more companies than Adidas. verifying what was already suspected in the seedy world of college basketball/AAU ball.

and now, the rest of the story... as it applies to the curious and sudden commitment of former Saginaw native, Brian Bowen, who was thought to be headed to MSU. How many scandals can Pitino survive?

College basketball as a whole is going to get slammed and will never be the same after this. Seriously just the small tip of the iceberg and it's going to get uglier as the FBI continues investigating.

Might be for the best. Every decade or so you have to clean the stables of all the crap.

Looks like Louisville is going to fire Pitino today. That guy will be perpetually un-hirable after this...

With Pitino's connections he will be coaching in the NBA again before the end of the season unless he is actually behind bars.
