Just hope someone doesn't accidentally fart during the in home. Especially if its a smeller. Everybody still has to act as of nothing happened. Looks speak so much louder than words during those times. Just hope it doesn't happen.

Coach Frank is/has been an amazing coach for youth in Memphis for a long time.

My son used to attend Coach Harris' workouts at Central Church on Winchester. This was 10+ years ago.

The hardcore basketball teaching and the physical beatings my son took at these workouts gave my kid what it took to earn college basketball scholarship.

There's no doubt in my mind that any son of Coach Harris would be one of the best players in the country.

You would just have to witness one of Franks workouts to really understand. Coach Harris teaches the "Dawg" mentality it takes to be college ready

Thanks for sharing. Cool story about your son. Many years ago at Central Church I got to help out with the Atlanta Hawks’ training camp. It’s when Moses Malone finished up his career with the Hawks. I helped Antoine Carr do this awesome drill where he sat two basketballs down one on each block, then he would reach down pickup a ball turn leap and slam the heck out of it then grab the other ball and keep going till he got tired. My job was to retrieve the balls and get the ball back down on the block quick so he could grab it. It was impressive. Carr was a huge man. It was fun. I was running all over getting those balls. Anyway, Central’s gym was/is quite nice.

The CA article today concerning the visit had an upbeat tone, IMO. The artivcle also mentioned that we visited or will visit Keonte Kennedy at his Austin, Tx high school "this week". Finally, Woodward is set for an official visit the first week of November.

http://www.commercialappeal.com/story/sp...711178001/

IMO, adding either Woodward or Kennedy plus Harris with Connor would be a successful class. It would place us in a better position to make and advance in the 2019 NCAA Tourney and provide legitimate hope while enduring a likely dismal 2017-18 season.

Wow! Didn’t know Frank was Tyler’s dad! My son plays in his tournaments at World Overcomers in the fall. Really great guy.

Per Mark G via Goodman tweet:

Quote:Fordham has landed Nick Honor, Point guard from Orlando, source told ESPN.

Honor, per Mark, was our back up point guard plan.

Honor thinks, perhaps, Tyler will sign with the Tigers.

No, it's Esposito again. Pooh is the main local guy, not sure why Espo is primary on Tyler, but it seems to be working.

I don't think the Pooh guy even exists. Anyone ever seen a picture?

Who has Pooh and Saul recruited in the 2017 and 2018 classes?

Nickelberry (Saul) and Johnson (Pooh)?

FYI

L. Jason Smith‏Verified account @JasonSmith929 1m1 minute ago

So how'd Memphis' 3-hour in-home visit w/Tyler Harris go last night? We'll talk to his dad, Coach Frank Harris, at 11:25 & you'll find out.

Remember how delusional T.J. Moss' dad sounded when he was interviewed after announcing T.J. was transferring to Findlay Prep?

Well Frank Harris could not sound more different right now with Jason and John. Grounded, honest, likable. Sounds like a good dad first, and a coach second.

Hope we get Tyler.
