Chad Brendel‏ @ChadBrendel
You know how fans sometimes get mad at Mick for quickly cutting ties on highly rated recruits. Yeah, about that......

Addidas and Louisville are about as intertwined as any school/apparel company out there. IIRC they just gave them a new deal paying them an outrageous sum of money (Ohio State/Bama/Texas money). My first thought was they had to be involved.

Quote:TMZ obtained some of the relevant court documents, which claim Gatto tried to pay $100,000 to a player and his family to get the player to commit to a certain school.

This is what allegedly went on that the school that appears to be Louisville. 100k funneled to a recruit in exchange for commitment.

I am sure Ricky P. will blame it all on the assistant who went rogue. He was totally unaware of the situation. Afterwards ESPN will increase the ACC's media rights by 50% yet again and Pitino will get a contract extension plus a raise.

Meanwhile UC will be stuck in the AAC and the media rights will move up from $2M/year to $2.25M/year.
