I'm going to visit my in-laws next weekend outside of VA and outside of the Comcast coverage area. Any online options? I saw something called Hens All Access but no idea if they'll stream it online since it's televised. And if they do, is it free?

Anyone with insight would be very appreciated!

I expect this to be a tough game. They return a lot of experience, and Rocco is a massive upgrade over Brock.

Lots of unknowns too. Not sure what to expect from them. They struggled in their opener, but that is to be expected with a new staff I'd think along with lots of teams struggle in openers. Being shutout at Blacksburg is no surprise, though others who watched the game advised the Sick Chickens pissed away a couple of scoring chances in the red zone (IIRC). Actually, holding the Turkey Buzzards to 27 points isn't bad. In fact, that is VPI&SU's lowest scoring total in a game so far this season.

Then, they whip Cornell putting up 41 pts and were up 31-0 at the half. But, Cornell gave up 49 to Yale in their only other game this season to date. JMU's defense will be a completely different nut to crack than Cornell. They are at home and beating Number 1 is a huge motivation. We need to bring our A game, avoid these nagging turnovers, get ahead early on the road and then turn it over to our defense.

They have an extra week to prepare and throw some wrinkles into their offense as well.

I expect this game to be tougher than Villanova due to the location and Rocco. HCMH will have the team ready.

Yes. Expect another game like this past week, but only in hostile territory. The blue chicken fans are working themselves into a lather about this game. While hen supporters don't expect a win, they see this game as the most important in the last several years of their once arrogantly proud program's history. Beating JMU this year will be a huge feather in their rebuilding cap.

I believe that not having it easy this past Saturday is going to really push them this week. They definitely showed that they can be beat. At the same time, we committed a lot of mistakes to keep them in the game.
One thing I've learned from a Coach Houston team: they don't make the same mistakes. I expect them to play much better this week and shut up yet another team that thinks they can beat us.

RE: JMU @ Delaware Thread
there's a lot of bitterness from UD toward us.

they used to be top dog in this league. But haven't been for a very long time. And it eats at their craw to see us with better on and off field performance.

The Dukes have won 7 straight away from BFS. Only 1 of those games (at UR, 47-43) was by a single digit margin.

Last visit to UD was 2 seasons ago which resulted in a 24-21 Dukes win. Schor hit Ravenel with the go-ahead 12 yd pass with 17 seconds left in the game. UD led 21-14 heading into the 4Q.

I hope HCMH has the good guys focused. One has to assume the CGD chatter and "one more" notch on the win streak before heading into the bye has to be in their heads.

Rocco and his staff are said to have been analyzing all of Schor’s tendencies and behavior in minute detail. They will likely bring a lot of pressure on the defensive side. Maybe Marcus can light them up instead and set some records 02-13-banana

I do think this year’s UD team will be tougher than last year, and could be a low scoring game. I would expect to see a stronger defense from them, though the offense has been unimpressive thus far.

This is UD’s “super bowl game” and definitely expect their best effort and whatever tricks they can muster. Would be a fun game to go to.

Some swing passes and maybe a few screens will be in order.

This one scares me. UD is a sleeping giant and Rocco is an excellent coach. Give him two weeks to think about it...they will be well prepared.

I attribute VT only scoring 27 as them taking their foot off the gas. They only score 38 on ODU too. Both teams were being shut out.

I'm sure they could've dropped much more in those games if they wanted/needed to.

This one will be close and competitive. I expect Rocco to have them ready and for their to be several wrinkles to turn the tide in their favor. On the flip side I expect the same from HCMH and the Dukes. Does anyone know if this game is available via streaming? I dont live in a TV zone.
