Other than Dillon & Gentry who have we lost for the season?

They are the only starters. Windham isn't out for the seasons. He will be back. Don't know if we will be back this week. Rupert went out and was on crushes. We have to wait for Norvell's addressing of the depth chart

Windham dressed for SIU but was held out after warmups. Norvell said he should be ready this week. Hate to lose Rupert, he's been a MAN. Who else is out besides Dillon, Gentry, Porter & Rupert?

RE: Week 4 Rankings
I saw nothing this week to make me change my mind based on last week. Within a tier teams are close and you can probably arrange them any way you want.

Tier 1
1. USF

Tier 2
2. Memphis
3. UCF
4. Houston
5. Navy

Tier 3
6. Tulsa
7. Cincinnati
8. Temple
9. SMU

tier 4
10. Tulane

Tier 5
11. UConn
12. ECU

I know you're trying to troll most likely, and it doesn't even matter, but I can't help but wonder what your logic is for putting UConn above ECU?

Not trying to troll. They are essentially equals to me. ECU could just as well be above UConn and probably should by the slightest of margins based on this weekend. Honestly... just copied and pasted from last week and paid next to no attention to the two awful teams at the bottom. As I said... teams in each tier are hard to separate one way or the other. I should probably flip UConn and ECU based on that one game, but if they played that game 10 times...I think 5-5 for each team sounds right.

I believe it's true that you didn't see anything this week that would change your mind, because it's evident you don't actually watch the games. This ranking is ridiculous to anyone who follows the league. Tulsa at 6? Tulane at 10? Tulsa and Temple better than Tulane or SMU based on what? And Cincy better than SMU?

Everybody is entitled to their opinions but these aren't credible.

Once again... I am not going to quibble with whatever order you want to put within each tier. I think Tulane is still a bit away but their unique style will give some teams issues. I think USF is a level above everyone else this year. I think the next 4 are all really good and capable of winning the league with a couple breaks. I think the next 4 could easily be bowl eligible and could finish in any order. Not enough games have been played within the conference for me to separate the teams as of this point in time. To me the groups are more important than the numbers next to their name right now. I'm paying very little attention to the numbers right this second (though I spent some more time in Tier 2, trying to separate than the lower tiers).

RE: Week 4 Rankings
my non-homer ranking. I think MEM has lost too much on D/isn't good enough on D to beat the top 3 in tier 1. If I were a betting man this week using brain instead of heart, I'd go UCF--hope to be wrong here but their O-line and D-line outsize ours and an FCS team was able to play power football against our D last week

Tier 1
1. USF
2. UCF
3. NAVY
4. MEM-Best offense in AAC...maybe worst D too

Tier 2
5. Houston
6.SMU

Tier 3
7. Tulane
8. Cincinnati
9. Temple

tier 4
10. Tulsa

Tier 5
11. ECU
12. UCONN

Still hard to rank this early but I see the East as top heavy with the best 2 teams in conf so far with the West as tougher overall with the next 5 best teams. Likely that the W teams beat each other up setting up for the winner of the U_Fs game being our best hope for Access

RE: Week 4 Rankings
Here's another way to rate them:
Best Overall - USF, UCF
Best Offenses, need improvement Defenses - SMU, Memphis, Navy, Tulsa
Best Defenses, need improvement Offenses - Houston, Cincinnati
OK Overall, need improvement - Tulane
Haven't shown much so far, need improvement badly - Temple, ECU, UCONN
I like this conference, it's fun. And we're all homers at heart.

1. USF
2. Memphis
3. UCF
4. Navy
5. Houston
6. SMU
7. Temple
8. Tulane
9. Tulsa
10. Cincinnati

The West is clearly the stronger division.

Fair but I would split the last category and rename:
Pretty Much Sucks Badly: Temple, UCONN
Why the Frack Are They in the AAC: ECU

RE: Week 4 Rankings
In fairness to UC...we have had three road games already an only one home game. Its been a crap way to start the year.

The bottom of the west is certainly better than the **** duo at the bottom of the east (ECU / UConn). However, I'd say the top of the East is really strong and the middle of each is fairly close. I don't think the West is clearly stronger, though it is deeper at the bottom.
