Nomad I doubt you know what he thinks about Trump.
You're right, I don't. But why come to the Spin Room if I can't assume what people are thinking? You've assumed what Kaepernick was thinking before. Stating "4-D chess" all the time is also assuming what Trump is thinking.
In fact, this whole fiasco is about people assuming what someone was thinking.

No one cares what kaperdink was thinking. It's his actions and words causing reaction.

He has made public statements about his protest mindset. I don't recall ever typing 4d chess on this forum, maybe one time last year.

Colin Kaepernick
Yeah, that's the method and reason. But then we assumed that he hated the military and everything about the country. Read the first thread, the behavior was atrocious.

The Anthem and the Flag have nothing to do with local policing. Which why it is stupid to do their kneeling protest. The USA does not oppress Blacks and POC. Most of these people excel, including Blacks from India. Now if you want to find real oppression go to a place like India that has a caste systems, slavery, and they chase down and beat Black Africans. Lots of immigrant groups and other minorities don't like AA's for various reason. White people or white cops aint the problem. The flags represents all of the USA with it's warts and zits but still a place anyone can get ahead.

What's the one point I stand tall on?

there's two....
Biased race relations? How so? Please, no limericks or sh*t like that.
I try not to get into race based conversations just because the bias here is so strong and there's no conversation to be had. I don't open threads that are obviously race related that often. I used to, but I understand that they are usually places to vent frustrations so I let you guys have it.

I've said this many times before, but there really isn't a strong sense of racism in our country. What we do have are specific locations within the U.S. that are economically depressed and also have very high crime rates. Those 2 reasons result in POC being scrutinized more closely by police as a result. Sometimes prosperous black people get caught within the dynamic; however, I think it happens in predictable areas - within large cities either within a troubled neighborhood or in neighborhoods that are not far away from bad ones.
I can assure you that a smart black kid in the ghetto has a much better shot at getting into Harvard than my 2 middle class daughters. That's what our "white middle class privilege" gets us - exclusion from ivy league colleges...

I'll bold this, bow out gracefully, and state, "that's the point"
