RE: Is Mark Stoops' seat warm?
If Kentucky thinks they can do better, they're delusional. Until Kentucky cares more about football and invests in it and facilities, program, staff, etc. it will always be a struggle for winning seasons. Stoops has been able to do that, so should stay as long as he can make bowl games every year.
Don't get greedy.

That and I do think Petrino's days at a re-branding Louisville athletic department will be numbered. After Pitino they simply aren't going to be free enough of scrutiny to survive Motorcycle Mama.
When it happens it means Stoops ability to recruit lower Ohio and his home state will go back up. I think that will translate into another win or two per year. So 9-3 might be his upside on a really good year. And until Kentucky does the things you suggested they would eat 9-3 up with a spoon.

Agreed. It takes a few years of recruiting the guys that fit your system. Stoops needs at least two years more at UK.

If Kentucky gets a 9-win season, they need to give that coach a raise!

Kentucky needs to move their football to to B1G. They would be competitive with Indiana, Illinois and Purdue

Funny thing.... I always end up moving Kentucky to B1G in my NCAA dynasties.
