Nah. Build a wall around New Mexico.

But Tulsa fans have to take responsibility for answering all Fanhhods trolls for the next week.

Well, clearly, there are not a lot of "Tulsa Fans" to answer me. Sweet Lord, I played in front of more people Twenty years ago in HS. Seriously.

I'll give him a break. His boys are undefeated and just won at Air Force. With the Chargers leaving San Diego this year and San Diego St finally winning consistently...well, a long time ago I created a thread entitled "will the sleeping giant wake up?" Remember that one? If they get by NIU next week they may run the table as they get Boise and New Mexico at home. This is your moment SDSU...let's see if you can do it.

SDSU barely beat Air Force. I don't think there's too much for fanny to say this week.

I'm asking the same thing...

We score 50+ points two games in a row then get held to 13?

Our defense allowed them to have the ball for 42 mins and what amounted to the entire third quarter.

Also the Lobos defensive co-coordinator figured out how to play Tulsa's QB. Simple really. Tulsa's defense didn't help.

Isn't AFA, the program that beat your West Champion last year, and many here continue to want them in this conference? Road game victory, against a team that won 10 games last year. What happens if Air Force beats Navy AGAIN this year? What is the spin?

Edit: I gave Tulsa too much credit this year. I really thought you would go 2-2, and was shocked that you lost to UNM with their third string QB. It was a good battle of middle to lower tier AAC/MW programs. The good news is, I think Tulsa could still win the West.

True. I just do not think we will run the table. It is too hard to do. Road games in the MW are a challenge, just as they are hard in the AAC as well. Playing in Hawaii will be tough. Getting Boise and UNM at Home is certainly an advantage for us. UNM is much better than what they showed against Boise and against Tulsa. With a healthy Lamar Jordan, they could be a threat to us.
