And millions of "people" are as up in arms and ready to go to battle on this, moreso than anything in my lifetime other than Vietnam. JFK and LBJ's war.

Tell me a more divisive event in your lifetime, ruined or taken more lives, wrecked more middle class households, sent more people to the ER that 2 yrs hence would have simply gone to their Doc and if needed headed to a hospital for next level care, NO ER.

Worst piece of public policy legislation I've seen in my life. Bar none.

Someone, please tell me where I's wrong. 07-coffee3

There were around 160 GOP amendments accepted into the ACA. Fake news that it was simply rammed through with zero partisan input like these repeal disasters have been attempting.

Vast majority of them procedural, parliamentary, legislative moves.

Tell me two. 2! Two that were legitimately part of the zerOcare "act".

Still 160 more than what the GOP has accepted from Dems in all of their, what 5 proposals the past 7 months. Heck, the 1st and only hearing for any of these bills was yesterday.

ACA had months of public input from all sources before it ever made a floor vote. This will be introduced weeks after formal introduction. Also, the ACA itself is a Republican plan, developed by former GOP darling Mitt Romney.

So, even with distance, time and months...

It is still a colossal disaster.

Ruining millions of lives and families, shuttering businesses and forcing hard working folks into 2 part time jobs, at 29 hrs or (typically) less each (so near 60 hrs a week), instead of one 40 Hr job with Bene's and a decent wage, and you call this a "WIN" for the American people?!? 03-lmfao

Ya'll leftist/socialist/commie Bro's still don't get how this all works, do you?!?

Astounding. 07-coffee3

Yes, the healthcare system prior to ACA was just peaches and sunshine. The free market was doing an expert job.

What!?! There was healthcare before Obama? Who'd a thunk it?

If the "republican" fab 4 who are holding up every repeal and replace have proven anything it's that if we want a bipartisan solution to this unmitigated disaster called Obamacare there must be a clean repeal. It forces a bipartisanship solution. Bernie should actually want this now that he has rolled out his one payer system. If they tinker with Obamacare it may start looking more "free market" based. If that works, Bernie can say bye bye to any hope of his plan ever being considered.

One thing for sure--the free market and the US health care system before Obamacare had nothing to do with each other.
