Little does the NCAA know that this is not a punishment!

This is the first time in history sanctions will be a gift. Now they have an excuse to be terrible 03-lmfao03-lmfao

Did the probation start a couple decades ago?

Fab Melo had a problem reading in English. English was his second language, which he started learning when he came to Syracuse. Before that, he spoke little if any English.

There wasn't much of a violation either.

Oh so that means he never went to Syracuse because he died? I guess Aaron Hernandez never killed anyone either.

Kansas averaged 25,700 in football attendance last year. Shouldn't they be hit with a failure to monitor sanction as well? It seems their fans failed to monitor home football games. I'd ask for a "show cause" but their record speaks for itself.

Nice false equivalence

Like I said...you got off easy for the buffoonery under Flood and your Wicked Witch of the West AD.

Has Rutgers ever won anything in sports?

Here we go, the old tried and true Rutgers diss. Did Syracuse ever win without cheating? Did Jimmy B ever make it through a game without eating a booger? Has Syracuse had a pulse in FB since McNabb left?

In a rather perverse way of looking at it, blessing in disguise. Neither Flood nor Herrman should have been hired into their positions and we canned both of the major offenders here at the end of the 2015 football season. Flood has show cause so he really couldn't work at the collegiate level at least for another year if anyone would hire him.

Herrman will be remembered as a PC hire (one of the Rutgers Trustees insisted that we hire a woman for AD when Perneitti was fired) and won't sniff the ADs chair anytime soon.

For what the infractions were, IN ANY OTHER INDUSTRY, it would have been immediate dismissal of the employees concerned.

What would be left? Vacating wins from the 2015 season? No bowl game? Loss of scholarships seems a bit steep for what happened.
