The alliance with byu and army is all we need in football and offers the best return. Toss in dayton and vcu for olympic sports and to tighten up some geography and we are good to go. 5-8 team bids in basketball, p6 football. Tight geography and good pairings.
Temple/uconn
Dayton/cincy
Vcu/ecu
Usf/ucf
Memphis/tulane
Tulsa/wichita
Smu/houston
There are no easy road trips and some of those could be killer swings. Every pair is its closest conference opponent and most are 200 miles roughly apart, some closer especially eastern pairs.
