Plus, it's so funny to see these Nebraska media pundits blame the Cornhuskers for everything without giving the Huskies credit for anything. Maybe, just maybe, we were better than them in some things.

No offense, but maybe, just maybe, Huskie fans will start to understand that opposition media has no reason in the world to look at things from an NIU perspective.
It's not like everyone on here was willing to acknowledge Boston College was better than us in any respect. Definitely didn't happen after Western Michigan beat us last year and it certainly didn't happen after Western Illinois slipped by us.
Yet another misguided thread was the one about how the Big Ten Network talking heads were so glum reporting the Nebraska loss. IT'S THE BIG TEN NETWORK PEOPLE!
Seriously, do any of you watch the SEC Network and notice how everything SEC is great in contrast to the Big Ten, ACC, PAC-12, Big 12, Notre Dame, etc. If anyone spent some time living near a real football factory, you'd find their media's coverage is always slanted -- they don't care what the opposition does, just what their team did or didn't do. Please note I said "a real football factory," in order to dismiss places like Sham-bama where the News-Gazette and Loren Tate virtually kiss the arses or suck the opposite side of the ILL-ness. Same as the Bloomington Pantie-graph believed the ISU coach accusing Novak's staff of stealing their playbook.
