Among those of us in Texas, UTA is always UT-Arlington. The mothership in Austin is always just referred to as UT, and they have about 51K.

RE: 2017 enrollment numbers
USA decreased to 15,569 this year due to increased enrollment criteria. The new(ish) administration has put a huge emphasis on improving our retention/graduation rate, which is climbing quickly. Our incoming class ranks much higher in terms of GPA, ACT etc due to this though.

RE: 2017 enrollment numbers
I can't find 2017 data but it should still be at or near last year's enrollment which was 20.6k
However in January the consolidation with Armstrong State in Savannah will be complete and Georgia Southern will have ~28k students split between our Statesboro campus and new Savannah campus

RE: 2017 enrollment numbers
UL's fall enrollment was 19,291, slightly up from last year, with graduate programs increasing 7%. We continue to grow after a couple of increases in entry requirements about 2012-2013. The cumulative GPA for fall 2017 freshmen was 3.37 with an average ACT of 23.86.
After all the new dorm construction was completed a few years back, and due to the continued increase in enrollment, they are plans in process to clear out a large section of old property/buildings and using the new space for additional on campus housing including separate space for married students.

Yup. TXST is 5th, UNT is 6th but just about even with TXST. Tech is 7th and then UTSA, UTEP, UTD are about 10k back from that.

Yeah, but you're of the Johnny-come-latelys. Lots of schools have come and gone since this league was founded. Hard to keep up anymore. South has been around since inception.
