UC and Navy last met on 10/2/1956. The Middies downed the Bearcats 13-7. I have attached the write-up from the 1957 edition of UC's Yearbook, The Cincinnatian.

Btw, attached is an overhead image of Nippert at the UC-XU football game in 1956. Reportedly 28K were on hand.

It's crazy to me that it's been that long since they have played considering all the years they were both independent.

Teams schedule through relationships, When UC played Navy inn1940, our head coach was a former Notre Dame player and asst. In 1956 the coach was previously the head coach Army. Coincidence? I think not.

The last time we played...we lost 13-7. The good news is we have an opportunity to win despite 11.5 point dogs. Yes, win.
